AutoCAD Design/Drafter

About the role

Auriga Corporation is seeking an experienced AutoCAD Design/Drafter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be excited about contributing to innovative and cost-effective solutions and services for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Prepare computer-aided design of drawings and other graphic material for Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Structural or Architectural designers using AutoCAD, Map 3D, Civil 3D and/or Revit.
• Utilize AutoCAD for engineering design.
• Manage and maintain engineering documents stored in database or in hard copy form.
• Apply mathematical and other engineering computations as required.
• Drafting experience including techniques, standards, nomenclature and symbols relevant to each specialty area/discipline.
• Work in a group setting and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Communicate effectively (verbal and written).

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Proficient in AutoCAD 2023 or higher.
• Proven work experience in preparing computer-aided design of drawings and other graphic material.
• Experience in utilizing AutoCAD for engineering design.
• Ability to work in a group setting.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Prior consulting or utility experience is a plus.
• Desirable GIS mapping skill.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years’ experience in AutoCAD drafting.
