Job Description Automotive Body Technician – Classic, Muscle, and Performance Cars Z2 Motorsports | New Britain, Connecticut Full-Time | Excellent Compensation & Benefits | Relocation Assistance Available Z2 Motorsports is looking for an experienced Automotive Body Technician to join our growing restoration and restomod shop. We specialize in muscle cars, restorations, restomods, and custom builds. This is an opportunity for a skilled body technician who takes pride in craftsmanship and wants to work on interesting cars where quality matters more than simply getting the next collision job out the door. What You'll Do As part of our team, you'll perform high-quality body and restoration work on classic and performance vehicles, including: Body panel repair, replacement, and alignmentRust and corrosion repairQuarter panel, floor, rocker, and structural panel replacementMetal finishing and bodyworkPanel fitment and gap adjustmentDoor, hood, trunk, and fender alignmentBody filler application and block sandingSurface preparation for primer and paintDisassembly and reassembly of repair and restoration projectsRepairing previous bodywork and correcting poor-quality repairs Who We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is experienced, dependable, and takes pride in doing things correctly. The Ideal Candidate Will Have Professional automotive body repair experienceStrong metalworking and bodywork skillsExperience replacing and fitting body panelsGood understanding of panel gaps and body alignmentExperience preparing vehicles for high-quality paintworkExperience painting and performing final finish work is not required but would be an excellent addition for this positionStrong attention to detailAbility to work independently and solve problemsAbility to work as part of a team on larger restoration projectsA genuine interest in classic, muscle, and performance cars Why Join Z2 Motorsports?
