Responsibilities
- Disassemble parts to prepare for the refinishing process
- Sand, grind, mud and prep surfaces for painting
- Read specs and job descriptions for each project
- Complete any repairs and touch-ups on various trucks
- Perform buffing techniques to achieve the desired finish
- Help with the priming and painting process
- Clean and detail equipment prior to customer inspection
- Clean and maintain tools and paint equipment
- Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous experience with autobody repair or automotive body shop preferred
- Basic mechanical aptitude
- Strong Mathematical skills
- Attention to details
- Ability to climb ladders and lift up to 100 lbs
