Summary
The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing vehicles while ensuring excellent customer service. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with a passion for the automotive industry and a commitment to quality work.
Essential Tasks and Responsibilities
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, and brake inspections.
- Diagnose and repair automotive issues including, but not limited to, engines, transmissions, suspension, and electrical systems.
- Use diagnostic tools to identify and troubleshoot mechanical problems accurately.
- Provide customers with accurate service recommendations based on diagnostics and inspections.
- Ensure all work is completed efficiently and meets safety standards and Colony Tire's quality expectations.
- Maintain clean and organized workspaces, adhering to Colony Tires safety and cleanliness protocols.
- Communicate effectively with service advisors and other team members regarding repairs, parts needs, and any additional service recommendations.
- Follow up on repair orders and maintain detailed service records.
- Stay up to date with new automotive technology, service procedures, and manufacturer specifications.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing any questions or concerns in a professional manner.

- Knowledge of automotive systems, components, and technology.
- Familiarity with diagnostic and repair tools.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures accurately.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work efficiently.
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment
- Ability to stand for long periods, work with hands, and lift up to 100 lbs.
- While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles and outside weather conditions.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
- The environment may or may not be air conditioned/heated seasonally.
- Employees frequently work with dirty and greasy parts and in awkward positions.
Education
A high school diploma or equivalent, and/or related experience is preferred but not required.
