Auto Risk Vice President - Strategic Analytics

Job Responsibilities

  • Create, design, analyze, and execute specific projects/analytics for assigned functional area
  • Build out automated controls to monitor and understand credit profile and performance changes
  • Support the economic readiness playbook inclusive of early warning monitoring tool development
  • Possess high degree of judgment and independent decision making for complex issues and problem solving
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to understand and address key business challenges
  • Work independently to successfully complete end-to-end process related to analytical tasks starting with problem identification, defining objectives, data discovery, synthesis and analysis of large & complex data points, formulating concise conclusions with actionable recommendations, and creating presentations to pitch findings and/or strategies
  • Provide clear/concise oral and written communication across various functions and levels, inclusive of Operations, IT, and Risk Management
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to a group(s) of analytic professionals
  • Able to effectively develop team members and demonstrate effective people management and leadership skills

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

  • MS / Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline; Math, Finance, Statistics, Economics or equivalent work/training is required
  • Minimum 8 years of related analytical experience / at least 5-6 years of direct people management experience
  • Proven record in problem solving and business innovation, agile and proactive in approach
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to interact with individuals across departments / functions
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of financial services
  • In depth knowledge of risk management policies, control processes, metrics, and strategy
  • Advanced PC Skills, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel (graphs, charts, formulas etc.)

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

  • Advanced degree in quantitative discipline is preferred
  • Experience within Auto Lending or Consumer Lending Business is a plus
