What You Get To Do

  • Safely repair and maintain company owned vehicles and equipment following all company policies and procedures.
  • Inspect, diagnose and repair all company vehicles including cars, trucks, vans, busses, trams, golf carts and utility vehicles.
  • Inspect, diagnose and repair small engine powered equipment (e.g., mowers, trimmers, pressure washers, etc.) and heavy equipment (forklifts, cranes, high reach etc.).
  • Complete all required documentation.
  • Inspect and repair pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
  • Operate automotive lifts, high reach, forklift and other machinery.
  • Maintain and operate parking lot sweeper equipment.
  • Deliver exceptional guest service.
  • Aid guests and team members with minor automotive issues (e.g., flat tires, jump starts etc.).
  • Positively interact with vendors to receive parts and supplies.
  • Clean and perform and other duties as assigned.

What It Takes To Succeed

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least one year of related experience or automotive vocational school training.
  • ASE certification in brakes.
  • Valid state driver’s license.
  • Ability to obtain company driver’s license and pass a DOT physical.
  • Ability to train and pass SeaWorld forklift and high reach certification.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to stand for entire shift.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. and push/pull 100 lbs. alone as well as push 1,000 pounds with assistance.
  • Comfortable working at heights, around water and in any weather/temperature.
  • Knowledge of basic hand tools.
  • Ability to operate machinery and use protective gear.
  • Must be able to work independently and troubleshoot problems.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Scheduling flexibility.
  • Working knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems preferred.
  • Understanding of automotive electrical and mechanical controls desired.
  • Heavy equipment operating skills a plus.
  • Experience in other maintenance related fields highly desirable.

Compensation

35.50 USD Hourly
