Auto Maintenance Technician II

About the role

Cox Automotive seeks an Auto Maintenance Technician II to perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and light repairs on a variety of vehicles supporting our auction and remarketing operations. You will diagnose basic mechanical and electrical issues, complete scheduled services, document work in maintenance systems, and ensure safety and quality standards are met. Collaborating with a skilled team, you'll help keep fleet and auction vehicles ready for customers while working in a people-first, growth-focused environment with opportunities to develop your technical skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and routine services on a variety of vehicles
• Conduct inspections and identify basic mechanical and electrical issues
• Complete light repairs such as brakes, tires, fluids, and minor components
• Use diagnostic tools and maintenance systems to document all work performed
• Follow safety, quality, and environmental standards in the shop
• Coordinate with supervisors and teammates to prioritize work and meet deadlines
• Support auction and remarketing schedules by ensuring vehicles are ready on time
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and care for tools and equipment
