About the role
We are offering an opportunity to lead a growing team of Auto Glass Technicians in airports, retail locations, or mobile operations. Experience is valued but not required—we provide paid training at $25/hour. In less than 60 days, you’ll be accountable for your team’s execution of Auto Glass Now standards. Successful managers come from diverse backgrounds, including glass technicians, construction workers, mechanics, retail employees, and trade workers. After training, you’ll be eligible for Shop Manager promotion opportunities earning $65,000 or more annually.
Responsibilities
- Recruit, interview, onboard, and train new Glass Technicians and Customer Service Representatives
- Create employee schedules and submit payroll
- Control inventory: conduct End of Period (EOP) and End of Year (EOY) inventory
- Balance registers, close out invoices, and make bank deposits
- Place product orders and physically restock inventory as necessary
- Understand the shop’s financials to drive results and utilize budget wisely
- Conduct quarterly employee evaluations
- Support team members with duties such as responding to customer questions and repairing glass
- Provide excellent customer service
Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to maneuver around vehicles safely during installations
- Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning for extended periods
- Must be willing to work in hot/cold weather conditions if necessary
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must pass a drug test for safety
- Must be willing to work early hours and up to 55 hours per week on occasion
- Must have basic computer operating skills
Pay
Earn $25/hour during training and $50,000–$65,000+ per year as a Shop Manager, with lucrative bonuses available.
