About the Role
This is a hands-on position for a professional who performs vehicle glass repairs, replacements, and recalibrations both in-shop and via mobile services. You will ensure safety, quality, and excellent customer service while operating industry-leading tools and technology, including diagnostic and calibration equipment.
Responsibilities
- Perform vehicle glass repair and replacement efficiently, maintaining safety and quality standards.
- Recalibrate automotive safety systems, troubleshoot, and conduct diagnostic testing.
- Operate specialized tools and technology, including calibration systems and work order software.
- Communicate effectively with customers, promote services, and ensure vehicle cleanliness post-service.
- Safely operate company and customer vehicles, adhering to safety policies.
- Adhere to company policies and standards, and perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and Safelite SafeTech™ certification required.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions.
- Proficient in using hand and power tools, computerized diagnostic tools, and operating a vehicle safely.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
- Professional appearance and behavior.
- Ability to work flexible hours, work outdoors, and handle chemicals safely.
Pay
Starting pay at $22.25/hr, increasing to $26.50/hr after training and certification.
