Auto Body Estimator / Motor Vehicle Property Damage Appraiser

About the role

The right candidate will join Richard Chevrolet's expanding Collision Center, handling vehicle damage assessments and interacting with insurance companies. This role involves administrative tasks such as answering calls, greeting customers, and maintaining customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Writing detailed estimates for vehicle damage
• Communicating with insurance companies regarding claims
• Performing administrative tasks including answering calls, greeting customers, and following up on cases
• Using industry-specific software to manage tasks
• Ensuring customer satisfaction and keeping them informed

Requirements

• 3 years of estimating experience
• Experience in the automotive insurance industry
• Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
• Effective time management and organizational skills
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
• Attention to detail, research, reasoning, and analytical skills
• Patience, diplomacy, professionalism, and confidentiality

Pay and Schedule

Hourly pay with a monthly bonus, pay varies based on experience. This is a full-time position.
