Autism Specialist Professional -FFS

About the role

The Autism Specialist Professional will implement behavior support plans to decrease problematic behavior and provide ABA-based instruction to promote new skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior support plans to decrease problematic behavior
• Provide ABA-based instruction to promote new skills
• Monitor client behavior and collect data on client behavior and skill acquisition
• Report data back to supervising BCBA
• Work collaboratively with the supervising BCBA, either in-person or via telehealth, and the client's family to support meaningful changes in client behavior

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or a GED
• At least two years of experience working with persons with developmental disabilities
• At least 18 years of age
• Pass a criminal background check
• Valid driver’s license with reliable and consistent access to a vehicle
• Availability to work after school and evening hours
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• A compassionate approach to care

Pay

Up to $20 per hour, depending upon experience
