Your Tasks
- Perform shop and field inspections in accordance with ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel Code (BPVC) and National Board requirements.
- Verify Certificate Holders’ authorizations, including Certificates of Authorization and National Board registration eligibility.
- Review and confirm that applicable ASME Code editions, referenced standards, and code cases are available and current.
- Monitor and evaluate Certificate Holders' quality programs, including updates, revisions, and compliance with ASME BPVC.
- Inspect materials, review material test reports, and confirm material traceability and documentation accuracy.
- Designate and perform inspections at key construction stages, including internal and external inspections, pressure tests, weld examinations, and nondestructive testing verification.
- Review and verify design drawings, calculations, and job documentation for adherence to ASME BPVC requirements.
- Complete and certify Manufacturer’s Data Reports and authorize ASME Code symbol stamping when all requirements are met.
- Participate in joint reviews and perform in-service inspections as needed.
Your Qualifications
- Current and valid National Board Authorized Inspector (AI) Commission.
- Successful completion of the National Board New Construction Commission course and the Authorized Inspector course/exam.
- Mets experience requirements of ASME QAI-1 Table 1 and has completed a minimum of 80 hours of on-the-job ASME training under supervision.
- Strong understanding of ASME BPVC requirements, materials, fabrication processes, welding procedures, and quality program compliance.
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, able to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to meet deadlines and represent ARISE professionally.

Additional Information
This is a part-time, temporary role focusing on shops and field repairs in the greater Tampa Bay area and I-4 corridor. The position requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work in industrial environments.
