Responsibilities
- Ensure all activities comply with FAA regulations, manufacturers' service bulletins, and Company Operations Specifications for Company aircraft and components.
- Keep current with revisions in manuals, changes in Company policies, procedures, and the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR).
- Review maintenance paperwork, including routine/non-routine work items, pilot reports, and deferred maintenance items to confirm aircraft airworthiness before maintenance release of an A check.
- Avoid performing required inspections to assist with receiving inspections and shop repair work orders.
- Perform maintenance tasks on aircraft and components, including periodic service checks, line maintenance, servicing, dispatch, and general overhaul, repair, disassembly, and reassembly as assigned.
- Propose enhancements to maintenance and inspection procedures to improve Company policies and efficiency.
- Account for all work performed by signing off on completed maintenance tasks for company aircraft and components.
- Identify and report operational or system hazards via the WBAT or departmental hazard reporting systems.
- Report any airworthiness or safety issues identified and refer disagreements regarding inspection findings to the Senior Director of Quality Control.
- Serve as a Flight Mechanic during Ad Hoc or EEC operations, monitoring personal duty time to ensure compliance with Section 4-13 Maintenance Personnel Duty Time Limitations.
- Collaborate with technicians to ensure that all completed maintenance tasks are accurately entered into the TRAX maintenance management system, maintaining up-to-date and precise records for compliance and tracking.
Requirements
- A valid FAA mechanic’s certificate with both airframe and powerplant ratings.
- Three years of experience on the same type aircraft.
- Successfully complete forty hours of general familiarization class (instructor lead) on the same aircraft model.
- Have ability to get qualified to perform UT/ET Phased array, borescope, dye pen, etc.
- Must be a team player with good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Must have valid passport from country of citizenship and be able to travel internationally without restriction.
- Must have valid driver’s license with clear driving record.
- Be able to pass pre-employment drug screening, background check and receive TSA clearance for access to restricted areas.
- Demonstrated ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to communicate effectively within the Maintenance Department, with contractors/personnel in location destinations and with other stakeholders as needed.
