About the Role
Join TrueNorth Wellness Services as an Authorization Specialist for the Functional Family Therapy program. This part-time, split office position is based primarily in Hanover, PA, with additional locations in York, Gettysburg, and Harrisburg. Work Monday to Friday, with no weekends or holidays. Pay starts at $14.28 per hour and increases with experience.

Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service to clients/families and build rapport.
- Obtain, verify, and review accurate insurance benefit information with clients.
- Maintain service authorizations.
- Ensure program compliance with state regulations.
- Set up electronic medical records for new clients.
- Proactively prioritize work tasks independently.
- Function effectively as a team member across multiple locations and with external organizations and insurance companies.
- Problem-solve and demonstrate proficiency in computer skills.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Prior experience with health insurance companies, medical record systems, medical billing, and coding preferred.
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
- Required clearances: PA Child Abuse History Certificate, PA State Police, FBI Fingerprint Check, and Mandated Reporting Training (assistance provided if needed).
- Proficiency with Word, Outlook, and the internet.
- Reliable transportation required.
