Austin, TX: Armed Protective Security Officer (PSO), DHS/FPS

Job Summary

Armed Security Officers perform a variety of security-related duties depending on the post. Patrolling and monitoring exterior and community areas on-premises. Access control of entrances and exits and departure of employees and visitors. Monitoring surveillance cameras for any disruptions or unlawful activities.

Minimum Requirements

• Two (2) years of experience in security.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Security Guard Card.
• Strong relevant knowledge of the security industry.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Customer service-driven mindset.

Education Requirements

• At least 2 years of college education.

High School Diploma/GED

• Required.

Texas DPS Security License (Texas Armed)

• Required.

CPR/First Aid

• Required.
