Responsibilities
- Provides superior customer service; looks for ways to exceed customer expectations.
- Answers product-related questions and suggests additional or alternative products and services.
- Processes customer transactions of goods and services, including cash, check, or charge payments.
- Makes change for cash transactions, uses an electronic scanner to record prices, and weighs items.
- Bags merchandise and redeems food stamps and promotional coupons.
- Monitors and manages potential front-end shrink.
- Performs Customer Service Assistant duties frequently.

Requirements
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
- Required experience in customer service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while staying focused on the Customer.
- Courteous, energetic, and helpful attitude.
- Precision in scanning and keying; attention to detail.
- Ability to get along with others.
Training & Certifications
- Successfully complete Checker training and Alcohol Seller's training.
Physical Demands & Working Conditions
- Constantly stand, reach at waist, and perform fine motor movements for 5.5+ hours per 8-hour day.
- Frequently walk, reach overhead, reach at shoulder, reach at knee, reach at floor, bend, stoop, squat, crouch, kneel, stair climb, pivot, twist, push/pull with arms, and pinch for 2.5–5.5 hours per 8-hour day.
- Occasionally lift up to 35 lbs and manage items in excess of 35 lbs (with assistance or by breaking down items).
- Occasionally exposed to cold, hot, loud noise, and wet conditions.
