Auditor I - Division of Gaming
About the role
The Department of Revenue (CDOR) seeks an Auditor I to ensure honesty, fairness, and competitiveness in gaming operations. This role requires auditing and compliance reviews, adhering to internal controls, and providing guidance to licensees.
Responsibilities
- Examine records and interview staff to complete revenue audits and compliance reviews.
- Clarify objectives of rules, regulations, and ICMPs to licensees.
- Evaluate gaming technology for compliance and proper calculation of Adjusted Gross Proceeds.
- Develop findings and recommendations for compliance with ICMPs or Gaming Regulations.
- Prepare reports and presentations.
- Train and assist stakeholders in interpreting ICMPs and completing tax returns.
Requirements
This position is open to Colorado residents only. Minimum qualifications include five years of relevant auditing experience or a combination of education and experience equal to five years. Current CPA or CIA certification is preferred.

Pay
Salary range is determined by the Step Pay Program and is based on years of service within the class series. The exact starting salary will depend on the successful candidate's qualifications and experience.
