Auditor - CPA Preferred

About the role

Buffalo Grove IL firm is looking for full-time auditor. Duties include:

• Perform entire audit process from set up of the financial information in ProSystem FX Engagement to the preparation of the financial statements to be submitted for technical review.
• Work with clients to obtain financial package and specific documents for review.
• Conduct preliminary analytical review procedures; inquire of client about significant undetermined variances.
• Schedule field audits, perform substantive testing audit procedures at client sites in Cook County, and record results.
• Prepare draft financial statements and audit reports, perform final analytical review, submit audit for technical review process, and follow up with client as needed.

Responsibilities

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting or Accountancy and 3 years of full-time experience as auditor or accountant preparing financial statements.
