Audit Technician
Responsibilities
- Perform fiber infrastructure audits and validation activities
- Test and certify cabling using OTDRs, Fluke testers, and related equipment
- Troubleshoot Layer 1 connectivity issues
- Verify fiber routes, circuit connectivity, labels, and documentation accuracy
- Identify installation discrepancies and support corrective actions
- Validate inventory and network asset records
- Work closely with engineering and operations teams to resolve issues
- Create detailed audit findings and documentation reports
Requirements
- Experience with fiber testing and validation
- OTDR and/or Fluke testing experience
- Strong Layer 1 troubleshooting skills
- Understanding of fiber and copper network infrastructure
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
Preferred Experience
- Structured cabling installations
- Fiber optic troubleshooting
- Fiber splicing
- Cat5e/Cat6 cable installation and testing
- Data center, telecom, ISP, or enterprise network environments
Schedule
The team is currently working 6 days per week, 10-hour shifts due to project demands and being behind schedule. Once the project is back on track, the expected schedule will generally be 5 days per week, 10-hour shifts, with occasional on-call responsibilities as needed.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms. If eligible, the benefits available for this temporary role may include the following:
