Audit Technician
Location: New Albany, OH
About The Role
We are seeking experienced Audit Technicians to support fiber validation, auditing, and troubleshooting activities within a data center environment. This role focuses on identifying installation issues, validating network infrastructure, reviewing documentation, and ensuring connectivity across fiber and copper network assets. The ideal candidate will have strong testing experience, Layer 1 troubleshooting skills, and a solid understanding of network fundamentals.
Responsibilities
- Perform fiber audit activities, including verification and validation of infrastructure
- Troubleshoot and identify connectivity and configuration issues
- Validate inventory, connectivity, and documentation accuracy across network assets
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to resolve discrepancies
- Document findings, audit results, and recommendations
- Review technical design and network documentation for accuracy
- Assist with fiber and copper infrastructure testing and validation
- Support network turn-up and troubleshooting efforts
Requirements
- Experience performing fiber testing and validation
- Hands-on Layer 1 network troubleshooting experience
- Strong understanding of telecom and network infrastructure concepts
- Experience reviewing technical design documentation
- High attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with cable installation, fiber, and copper infrastructure

Pay
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr. Individual compensation offered within this range will depend on qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
Schedule
- Standard hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Rotating on-call schedule
- Overtime available during site turn-ups (may require 10-hour days, 6 days per week)

Work Environment
On-site data center environment supporting fiber validation, auditing, testing, and troubleshooting activities. This is a 6-month Contract-to-Hire position.
