Audit Supervisor | Portfolio Companies

Essential Functions And Primary Duties

• Develop and maintain strong client/investment company owner relationships.
• Collaborate with other service lines, including with our tax, private equity co-sourcing group, advisory and investment company assurance practices, to develop a go-to-market strategy targeting portfolio company audits.
• Be well versed in understanding the private equity and venture capital investment life cycle, including potential public and private exits of such fund investments.
• Demonstrate proficient technical skills for handling all client responsibilities, including knowledge of trends, industries, alternatives, etc.
• Manage and retain multiple client relationships, engagements, and special projects.
• Leverage existing investment company relationships of audit, tax, and advisory groups.
• Participate in client meetings, presentations, and proposal development.
• Manage deadlines, work on multiple assignments, and prioritize tasks as necessary.
• Communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally.
• Use applicable technology effectively.
• Travel based on client and business needs as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred in Accounting, Taxation or related field preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience in public accounting or related field.
• One year supervisory experience preferred.
• CPA candidates preferred.
• Readiness to travel based on geographic locations of portfolio companies.
