About the role
CohnReznick is seeking Audit Summer Interns for Summer 2027 (June–August) in our Sacramento office. This is a hybrid role with an average expectation of three in-office days per week to enable collaboration and professional development.

Responsibilities
- Become familiar with accounting and auditing procedures and perform procedures in accordance with firm standards accurately, thoroughly, and timely
- Work all aspects of an audit engagement including cash, bank reconciliations, accounts payable, searching for unrecorded liabilities, maintaining confirmation logs, and preparing audit work papers
- Assist with audits, reviews, compilations, and accounting services
- Take part in resolving audit issues by obtaining evidence and making client inquiries while assisting the team with daily client workflow
Your experience
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting
- Plan to complete 150 credit hours between May 2028 and September 2029 to meet CPA licensure requirements
- Minimum 3.2 GPA in both major and overall coursework
- Successful completion of two accounting courses prior to the start of the internship
- Leadership positions in student organizations, extracurricular activities, and/or team projects
- Prior work or internship experience is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to learn in a fast-paced environment
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
