Audit Senior

About the role

The Audit Senior will join our growing Financial Assurance Services Practice. This role has the potential for advancement into a future Management position for candidates with strong leadership and technical skills. The position is available in our Rochester, NY office or on a fully remote or hybrid basis.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, prepare, review, and assist the engagement leader to deliver a full range of assurance services including audits, compilations, reviews, analysis, compliance, and consulting
• Cultivate trusted relationships with clients and draw on those relationships to design and deliver expert consulting and innovative, results-focused planning
• Travel up to three weeks per year to local/regional client sites and national AICPA/BDO training events

Requirements

• 3-5+ years of public accounting experience
• Bachelor of Science degree, and a CPA or be CPA eligible
• Authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis
• Experience working in a paperless, electronic environment
• Consistent access to reliable transportation for traveling to client locations as needed
• Deep appreciation for teamwork

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, construction, employee benefit plans, and/or real estate (preferred)
• Experience using CCH Engagement and CCH ProSystem/Checkpoint (a plus, but not required)

Pay

$69,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year, with bonus pay opportunities

Schedule

• Monday to Friday
• Overtime as needed
