Audit Senior Associate
About the role
The Senior Audit Associate position is available at one of Brown Edwards' 13 offices. We are seeking candidates with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, with a preference for a Master's degree, and at least 2 years of public accounting experience. A CPA designation is preferred but not required. Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and firm-supported software applications is expected. Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills are necessary, along with the ability to supervise and train Associates effectively.
Responsibilities
- Directs engagements, including responsibility for timelines, budgets, schedules, and the assignment of Associates.
- Reviews and prepares workpapers and related client deliverables.
- Maintains firm confidentiality.
- Follows firm policies by conforming to procedures outlined in the Associate Handbook.
- Develops an understanding of the firm’s vision, plan, and strategies and their role in achieving them.
- Works sufficient hours needed in order to complete projects assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years public accounting experience preferred.
- CPA designation preferred.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and firm supported software applications.
- Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Willingness to remain current through continuing professional education and ongoing professional development.
- Ability to supervise and train Associates effectively.

Pay Range: $60k-$120k
