Audit Remediation Senior Consultant

Responsibilities

Guidehouse is currently seeking financial management professionals in support of our Department of the Navy client. These teammates will bring a vast range of experiences across financial management, accounting, audit, internal controls, and financial policy. Our Guidehouse Team Will Provide Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS), Internal Control Over Financial Reporting (ICOFR), DoD financial management policies and procedures and DoD organizational structures Financial audit statements and audit readiness services Understanding of Office of Management and Budget (OMB) policies and federal financial management systems Understanding of DoD acquisition, inventory, property and material management.

Requirements

• ACTIVE and MAINTAINED "SECRET" Federal or DoD security clearance; candidates must have approved adjudication of clearance prior to onboarding with Guidehouse.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Business Management/Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Data Science; OR one of the following active and current certifications issued by appropriate licensing authority may be used in lieu of listed degree field:
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
