Responsibilities
- Developing and performing process walkthroughs
- Evaluating control design and effectiveness
- Identifying and documenting audit observations
- Communicating results to management
Requirements
- Strong analytical, communication, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience in external audit, internal audit, or a combination of both
- A strong understanding of internal controls
- Experience within a healthcare internal audit function is strongly preferred
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or information technology or equivalent experience
- One of the following certifications within 12 months of hire: CPA, CIA, CFE, CHIAP
- Proficiency in analyzing and documenting business process controls, identifying risk, and improving internal control processes
Skills
- Data analytics tools
- Knowledge of IT security controls, CoBIT, COSO, ERM, and GRC concepts
- Healthcare regulations (CMS, HIPAA, PCI, etc.)
Benefits
Hybrid/Remote position available in selected states: AZ, CA, CO, ID, NE, NM, NV, OR, UT, WA, & WY.
Pay
$43.77 - $72.95 / hour

Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
