Responsibilities
- Develops, maintains, and reports on dashboards and other tools used for department management.
- Aids in maintaining the audit plan and risk assessments.
- Maintains oversight of the audit methodology and updates procedures, templates, and other documents as needed.
- Oversees the development and implementation of training plans for different auditor positions.
- Serves as a liaison with external independent auditors to coordinate reliance testing.
- Makes recommendations for corrective actions when necessary.
- Follows up on outstanding quality assurance audit issues and escalates emerging concerns.
- May lead or assist lower-level auditors as assigned.
Qualifications
- Requires a Bachelor’s in economics, business, mathematics, finance, accounting, or a related field.
- 4+ years experience in the financial industry or internal audit, quality assurance analysis, accounting, or other directly related experience.
- Certification (CPA, CFA, CIA) preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of auditing procedures, quality assurance reviews, accounting, statistical analysis, legal, and government regulations.
- Expert analysis, judgment, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional client relationship and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Working knowledge of PC software.
Pay
This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $85,000 - $115,000 annually, depending on job-related factors such as level of experience and location. The position is also bonus eligible.
