Audit Manager
About the role
As an Audit Manager, you’ll play a key role in leading meaningful client engagements and helping organizations navigate complex accounting, audit and compliance challenges. You’ll oversee day-to-day engagement operations, collaborate closely with talented team members, and serve as a trusted advisor to clients across a diverse range of industries. Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong client relationships while leading audit, consulting, and compliance engagements
- Apply your knowledge of technical accounting and financial reporting standards to help clients address complex business needs
- Lead the development of effective audit approaches using applicable standards and firm methodology
- Manage engagement workflow, timelines, and team resources to support high-quality client service
- Collaborate with other practice areas to bring industry insight and a coordinated service approach to clients
- Monitor engagement profitability and support billing analysis for assigned engagements
- Use strong analytical skills and accounting software knowledge to evaluate information and communicate insights
- Coach, mentor, and motivate team members through feedback, career guidance, and day-to-day leadership
- Represent the firm and grow your professional network through community events, industry organizations, and relationship-building opportunities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- At least five years of public accounting experience
- CPA certification
- Ability to extract, analyze, visualize, and present data in a clear and meaningful way
- Strong leadership, training, and mentoring skills, with a genuine interest in helping others grow
Preferred: Experience serving clients in the construction and/or retail industries
