Audit Manager

About the role

As an Audit Manager for our firm, you will have the opportunity to develop an in-depth understanding of our client's businesses, thus allowing you and your team members to deliver timely, high-quality service to the client that meets or exceeds their expectations. Audit Managers are encouraged and rewarded for recognizing opportunities to increase the level and type of services our clients would find beneficial. This position will come with the opportunity to grow into a Partner role in 2-3 years. Dansa D'Arata Soucia LLP is experiencing rapid growth, leading to unlimited potential for talented individuals joining our team.

Minimum Requirements

• Master's degree in accounting, business administration, or economics
• CPA certification
• Minimum 7 years of public accounting experience
• Geographically located near Buffalo, New York
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Maintains exceptional customer service skills and the ability to form effective working relationships with clients to provide innovative tax planning, consulting, and compliance services
• Specific knowledge of FASB regulations and GAAP
• Strong financial statement and audit background

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to recognize opportunities to provide new and innovative service to clients
• Self-starter with the ability to handle and manage multiple priorities
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Training and mentoring staff
• Delegating workload to team members
• Reporting job statuses and issues to partner group

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ProSystems Engagement software is a plus
• Additional professional designations, such as CFE, CVA, etc. are a plus
