Audit Manager | 100$/hr Remote

Short-term contract role (9 weeks) at up to 40 hours per week with 4 hours of overlap with PST. Remote position paying $100/hour.

Responsibilities

• Create and evaluate high-difficulty accounting and audit tasks.
• Develop scenarios covering financial reporting, US GAAP, disclosures, internal controls, and compliance.
• Review AI-generated solutions for technical accuracy and professional standards.
• Assess risks, evidence, material issues, and reporting requirements.
• Review and calibrate team outputs and provide expert feedback.
• Escalate complex cases and rubric-related issues when required.

Requirements

• 8+ years of accounting or audit experience at Manager, Director level, or as an industry Controller.
• Relevant qualification such as CPA, CA, or ACCA.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, financial statements, disclosures, and reporting requirements.
• Experience with internal controls, financial reporting, and compliance controls.
• Strong audit judgment and ability to assess risks and identify material issues.
• Strong analytical and written communication skills.
