About the role
US Conec is seeking a proactive Audit Lead to direct workers engaged in auditing all production kits.
Responsibilities
- Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet shipping schedules.
- Approve auditors' weekly timecards on time for payroll purposes.
- Examines audit work to ensure they meet acceptable quality levels specifications.
- Trains auditors on acceptable quality levels and quality inspection procedures.
- Adjusts work assignments to complete higher-priority work first.
- Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations.
- Completes hourly inspections of operator work to ensure quality standards and audits all completed work based upon written Acceptable Quality Level standards.
- Maintains a clean and orderly work area.
- Maintains the organization of the 'Audit-Out' shelving based on the shipping schedule.
- Collect and label weekly scrap with the corresponding week.
- Communicates any quality issues or concerns and works with the Manufacturing Engineer, Production Leads, and Production Supervisors.
- Studies production schedules and estimates worker hour requirements for completion of job assignments.
- Adjusts work assignments to complete expedites or same-day requests.
- Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase the efficiency of the audit group.
- Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists workers in solving work problems.
- Inspects finished product and documents dispositions.
- Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals.
- Compiles quality issues and adds quality logs or reports.
- Cross-train to the Special Operations lead position.
Requirements
- Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and on the job experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively and clearly in both spoken and written form.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
- Results oriented with the ability to adapt quickly to changes.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
