BiggsKofford is a boutique accounting firm, with approximately 50+ staff and offices in Colorado Springs and Denver. We’ve been operating in Colorado since 1982, providing more than just traditional tax and accounting. BiggsKofford works primarily with non-profits and closely held businesses to help entrepreneurs through their business life cycle, including acquisition, growth, and exit. Clients are served by collaborating across departments and by allowing consultive interactions early in the career of our employees.

What you’ll be doing

• Assist in the performance of financial statement audits for nonprofits, closely-held businesses and local government clients
• Support the preparation and drafting of financial statements and related footnotes
• Collaborate with senior auditors and managers to ensure timely completion of audit engagements
• Participate in client meetings and on-site audit fieldwork to gather and assess financial information
• Maintain compliance with firm policies, professional standards, and applicable auditing regulations
