Audit Consultant - Treasury/Liquidity
About the role
Audit Consultant with 5+ years’ experience leading and executing internal audits within a large bank, with a focus on treasury, liquidity, and related areas such as capital planning and CCAR.
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute audits and risk assessments surrounding treasury and liquidity
- Perform issue validations related to treasury and liquidity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure thorough and accurate audits
- Prepare and present audit findings and recommendations to senior management
Requirements
- Experience auditing and performing risk assessment surrounding areas related to treasury, liquidity, and any other closely-related areas (e.g. capital planning, CCAR)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) designation preferred
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
