About the Role
As an Audit Associate in our Bethesda, MD office, you will work closely with a team of professionals at all levels, from Interns to Partners, to perform audit procedures in accordance with firm standards. This hybrid position encourages in-person collaboration an average of 3 days a week, with flexibility determined at the team level.

- Work on engagement teams with Interns, Associates, Senior Associates, Managers, Senior Managers, and Partners.

Responsibilities
- Assist in audits, reviews, compilations, and accounting services.
- Prepare and document work papers that are accurate, thorough, and well-organized.
- Resolve audit issues by obtaining evidence and making client inquiries.
- Understand client accounting systems and apply concepts of materiality and audit risk.
- Ensure work papers are informative, cross-referenced, and easily understood.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting.
- Plan to complete 150 credit hours between December 2025 and September 2026 to qualify for CPA licensure.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 in both your major and overall.
- Leadership positions in extracurricular activities are preferred.
- Prior work or internship experience (accounting experience is a plus).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team-based culture.
- Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Pay
In Maryland, the salary for an Audit Associate is $81,000. The total rewards package includes a discretionary performance bonus, generous paid time off, expanded parental benefits, and access to best-in-class learning and development platforms.
