About the Role
Employees in this classification are part of the college-wide Audiovisual Technology team. Under general supervision, this position designs, builds, maintains, and supports audiovisual solutions across all college locations. The role provides technical support for high-profile college events such as board meetings, town halls, and foundation events, and offers high-level support to campus general support teams to troubleshoot and correct audiovisual issues for specified departments, divisions, or campus locations.
Responsibilities
- Install, upgrade, troubleshoot, and repair audiovisual equipment, including displays, projectors, screens, Smart boards, speakers, amplifiers, audio/video switchers, mixers, microphones, control systems, and videoconferencing units.
- Apply knowledge of computer hardware, software configuration, network components, audio/visual equipment, video conferencing, Windows, and OSX.
- Perform proactive measures to ensure effective operation of all audiovisual technology college-wide, such as management applications, projector lamp replacement, and other tasks assigned by the Assistant Director of Audiovisual Technology.
Requirements
- Associate degree in business management or technology (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Four years of relevant experience in maintaining and repairing computers and audio/visual equipment.
- Preferred certifications: AVIXA CTS, Crestron CTIP-101.

Pay
$57,032 - $67,726 (commensurate with education and experience).
