Audiology Extern

About the role

4th year audiology extern responsible for performing all audiology testing and services as directed by the program director.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostic testing including pure tone air and bone conduction
• Impedance audiometry
• Sound field testing
• Speech reception and speech discrimination testing
• Otoacoustic emissions testing
• Assist with other department duties as requested by the program director

Requirements

• Completion of 3 years at an accredited Doctor of Audiology program
• Obtain temporary license and apply for RPE with the California Department of Consumer Affairs
• Experience with diverse populations and willingness to learn

Pay

$25.00/hr
