Externs gain practical experience and mentorship from audiologists in comprehensive evaluations, patient engagement, and solution-oriented education, with possible exposure to pediatric and vestibular testing. Continuous growth is fostered through monthly manufacturer-led workshops or one-on-one trainer sessions, with many externs transitioning to full-time roles. Responsibilities
- Learn, ask questions to your preceptor
- Appointment documentation
- Lead selection, fitting, follow‑up, and service appointments
- Ordering/servicing hearing aids
- Earmold impressions
- Conduct follow‑up calls with patients
- Participate in clinic/company meetings
- Any task beneficial to your clinic
Qualifications
Must actively be in an AuD program.

Pay
