Audiologist

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Audiologist to perform medical assessments for U.S. Veterans, supporting the VA's disability benefits process. This part-time, in-person position offers a structured schedule with no on-call duties, ideal for compassionate Audiologists seeking a meaningful role without treatment responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Conducting in-person disability assessments for Veterans
• Reviewing and analyzing electronic medical records via a secure web portal
• Performing tests such as Maryland CNC and Puretone Audiometric assessments
• Completing Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQ) to generate necessary medical documentation

Requirements

• Au.D. degree from an ASHA-accredited school
• Current Audiologist license
• Proficiency in electronic documentation and web-based portals
• Strong analytical, time management, and empathetic communication skills

Role Details

• Part-time, in-person position, approximately 2 days/week
• Caseload of 3-6 Veterans daily
• Equipment provided, including computer and documentation tools
