About the Role
To ensure that clinical Audiological services are administered and completed in a timely, accurate and reliable manner. Those served include inpatients and outpatients, patients requiring care in the home, nursing home patients, United Health Services Hospitals staff, employees affiliated with UHS Inc., vendors, and community groups as needed. Priority is given to services which directly affect patients and students. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with a collaborative team of professionals in a pleasant and professional environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform and analyze electrophysiologic testing for patients of all ages, including newborns.
- Perform comprehensive audiological evaluations, OAEs, and acoustic immittance testing for patients of all ages and populations.
- Cochlear implant evaluations, activations and mappings.
- Strive to expand current scope of offerings by Audiology department to better serve our local community.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) or Master's degree in Audiology
- ASHA certification (CCC-A)
- Eligibility for licensure in New York State
Pay
$37.00 - $55.50 per hour, depending on experience. Competitive starting salary of $116,000 to $125,000, with bonus incentives, a sign-on bonus, and relocation assistance.
