Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical expertise to diagnose and treat hearing loss while ensuring a positive patient experience.
  • Act in accordance with industry and state professional licensing standards.
  • Grow your patient population and meet practice financial goals.
  • Deliver quality care and aftercare of dispensing services such as hearing tests and hearing aid fittings.
  • Educate and train hearing aid users on best practices.
  • Perform checks on hearing aids and other amplification devices, including troubleshooting, repairs, earmolds, and cleaning.
  • Achieve practice growth with a strong mindset on sales and key business metrics while maintaining ethical practice standards.
  • Conduct local community outreach including health fairs and developing physician relationships.
  • Counsel patients on the purchase of hearing aids, devices, and accessories.
  • Maintain a current understanding of third-party payors and various payment methods in accordance with federal and state laws.
  • Understand and meet monthly, quarterly, and yearly clinical finance targets in collaboration with your PCC and Manager.
  • Support Telehealth initiatives (Remote Care) to expand patient care, including conducting hearing tests and coaching patients on hearing aid devices.
  • Maintain continuing education requirements based on state regulations.
  • Operate audiometric equipment and interpret results for patients in an easily understood manner.
  • Lead, mentor, and participate in growth initiatives, including the Amplify Leadership Program for one-on-one guidance and leadership development.
  • Act as a proctor or mentor for the next generation of Hearing Care Professionals.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Active Hearing Aid Dispensing License or Audiology License in accordance with state requirements.
  • 2+ years of Hearing Aid sales experience or 2 years equivalent in industry training under a licensed HIS or AuD.

Pay

Base Salary: $70,000–$90,000 + uncapped commission.
