HealthDrive Audiologists have the opportunity to earn $90K+ per year with a flexible, stable career. A sign-on bonus of up to $8,000 is offered (pro-rated based on number of days).

With over 30 years of experience and established industry relationships in senior living environments, HealthDrive is the leading provider of Audiology services to residents of communities across the nation. Our Audiologists provide patient-centered care with white-glove concierge support from our seasoned provider support team based in Framingham, Massachusetts. We equip you with a practice, allowing you to deliver comprehensive diagnostic audiological examinations, hearing aid evaluations, dispensing, and adjustments of new hearing aids to residents in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and long-term care facilities in a mobile setting. You guide us on your desired number of patients per day to maximize income or achieve work/life balance. Current opportunities are available in the Toledo and southern surrounding, OH areas.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive examinations, evaluations, and auditory consultations
  • Perform daily patient care, including diagnostic audiological examinations, hearing aid evaluations, selections, and repairs
  • Dispense and adjust new hearing aids
  • Perform cerumen management, where allowed by state professional regulations
  • Complete required patient and clinical documentation in our proprietary electronic medical record system

Requirements

  • Audiology background with proficiency in the assessment, treatment, management, and evaluation of hearing disorders
  • Ability to work independently on a daily basis
  • Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Ability to use EMR, text, email, the internet, and learn other healthcare-related software
  • Self-starter attitude with a desire to deliver quality, thoughtful, and attentive care
  • Ability to stand, bend, and lift
  • Ability to transport mobile audiology equipment (maximum of 15 lbs.)
  • May occasionally be required to transport patients in wheelchairs
  • Master’s or Doctorate Degree in Audiology
  • Current state professional license
  • Valid driver’s license

Travel

This is a mobile position. Daily travel is based on patient care requirements for the specified service area. A valid driver’s license and the ability to drive significant distances on occasion are required.
