About the role

We are seeking a full-time Audiologist (4-5 days per week) in Asheville, NC, and surrounding areas. This position offers a competitive compensation package with uncapped earning potential, including the opportunity to earn $100k+ for a full-time (4 days/week) provider (prorated based on schedule).

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive examinations, evaluations, and auditory consultations.
  • Provide traditional daily patient care, including diagnostic audiological examinations, hearing aid evaluations, hearing aid selections, and repairs.
  • Dispense and adjust new hearing aids.
  • Perform cerumen management, where allowed by state professional regulations.
  • Complete required patient and clinical documentation in our proprietary electronic medical record system.
  • Apply proper coding guidelines and populate appropriate billing codes for services provided.
  • Adhere to OSHA guidelines regarding patient care, disposal of materials, and sterilization of equipment.

Requirements

  • Audiology background with proficiency in the assessment, treatment, management, and evaluation of hearing disorders.
  • Ability to work independently on a daily basis.
  • Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in using EMR, text, email, the internet, and other healthcare-related software.
  • Self-starter attitude with a desire to deliver quality, thoughtful, and attentive care.
  • Master’s or Doctorate Degree in Audiology.
  • Current state professional license in Audiology.
  • Valid driver’s license.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, bend, and lift.
  • Ability to transport mobile audiology equipment (maximum of 15 lbs.).
  • May occasionally be required to transport patients in wheelchairs.

Travel

This is a mobile position. Daily travel is based on patient care requirements for the specified service area. A valid driver’s license and the ability to drive significant distances on occasion are required.
