About the role

HealthDrive is currently seeking an Audiologist to work full-time (4–5 days per week) in Wernersville, PA and surrounding areas.

Opportunity for $100k+ for a full-time (5 days/week) provider (prorated based on schedule). Currently offering a $10,000 sign-on bonus for a full-time (5 day/week) provider (prorated based on schedule).

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive examinations, evaluations, and auditory consultation.
  • Perform traditional daily patient care including comprehensive diagnostic audiological examinations, hearing aid evaluations, hearing aid selections and repair.
  • Dispense and adjust new hearing aids.
  • Perform cerumen management, where allowed by state professional regulations.
  • Complete required patient and clinical documentation in the proprietary electronic medical record system.
  • Apply proper coding guidelines and populate appropriate billing codes for services provided to patients.
  • Adhere to OSHA guidelines regarding patient care, disposal of materials, and sterilization of equipment.

Qualifications

  • Audiology background with proficiency in the assessment, treatment, management and evaluation of hearing disorders.
  • Ability to work independently on a daily basis.
  • Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Ability to use EMR, text, email, the internet and to learn other healthcare-related software.
  • Self-starter attitude with the desire to deliver quality, thoughtful and attentive care.
  • Masters or Doctorate Degree in Audiology.
  • Current state professional license.
  • Valid driver’s license.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, bend, and lift.
  • Ability to transport mobile audiology equipment (maximum of 15 lbs.).
  • May occasionally be required to transport patients in wheelchairs.

Travel

This is a mobile position. Daily travel is based on patient care requirements for the specified service area; your practice. A valid driver’s license and the ability to drive significant distances on occasion is required.
