Audiologist

About the role

Provide audiology services in a clinic setting and support our ENT practice at our Lakeville Clinic.

Pay

The wage range for this position is $36.50 — $51.53 per hour, determined based on experience, education, and internal equity considerations.

Responsibilities

• Counsel and instruct patients and their families in techniques to improve hearing and communication related to hearing loss.
• Evaluate hearing and balance disorders to determine diagnoses and courses of treatment.
• Participate in conferences or training to update or share knowledge of new hearing or balance disorder treatment methods or technologies.
• Conduct or direct research on hearing or balance topics and report findings to help in the development of procedures, technology, or treatments.
• Administer hearing tests and examine patients to collect information on type and degree of impairment, using specialized instruments and electronic equipment.
• Engage in marketing activities, such as developing marketing plans, to promote business for private practices.
• Recommend assistive devices according to patients’ needs or nature of impairments.

Required Qualifications

• Doctor of Audiology (AuD) degree from an accredited program.
• Current Minnesota Audiology License, or eligibility for Minnesota licensure.
• Clinical experience in audiology, preferably in a healthcare or clinic setting.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC‑A) through the American Speech‑Language‑Hearing Association (ASHA).
• Experience providing comprehensive audiology services in a clinical or healthcare setting.
• Experience working with patients across a range of ages and hearing‑related needs.

Schedule

Casual/Call. Varying days/shifts: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday between 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM.
