About the Role
Baylor Scott and White Health is seeking an experienced, board-eligible/board-certified (BE/BC) Doctorate level Audiologist (Ph.D. or AuD) to join our team in our ENT/Audiology care program at our Austin Pflugerville Medical Center and Specialty Clinic. This position will focus on both pediatric and adult audiology patients and offers a generous benefits package, competitive salary, productivity bonus, moving allowance, and no state income tax.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive audiological evaluations, including diagnostic audiologic hearing evaluations for patients of all ages.
- Perform electrophysiological evaluations (ABR, OAE, Ecog, VEMP).
- Conduct vestibular testing (ENG/VNG and rotary chair).
- Perform cochlear implant evaluations and mapping.
- Dispense hearing aids and provide follow-up care.
Requirements
- Valid Texas Audiology license.
- Current or eligible to obtain American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) certification or American Board of Audiology (ABA) certification.
- Previous experience in a hospital setting is preferred but not required.
- At least three years of clinical experience, including testing and fitting for hearing aids, preferred but not required.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
