Audio Visual Technicians, Event Production- seeking ALL levels of experience - Interviews in Tucson 8/27!

About the role

Encore is hosting scheduled on‑site interviews on August 27th, 10:00 AM–1:00 PM at the JW Marriott Tucson Starr Pass Resort & Spa, 3800 W Starr Pass Blvd, Tucson, AZ 85745 (complimentary self‑parking provided).

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and break down intermediate audiovisual equipment accurately and timely.
• For Event Technical Lead and Event Operations Supervisor: assist in training technicians, mentor new hires, and model/reinforce a positive work environment.
• Ensure compliance with hotel and Encore service expectations.

Requirements

• Experience in one or more of the five core disciplines: Audio, Video, Computers, Lighting, Rigging.
• Event Technician: 6 months of audiovisual experience preferred.
• Event Technical Lead: 2 years of audiovisual experience required.
• Event Operations Supervisor: 4+ years of audiovisual experience required.
• Prior experience in retail, hospitality, or related industries is preferred.

Skills

• Proficiency with audiovisual equipment across Audio, Video, Computers, Lighting, and Rigging.
• Ability to lift and move equipment (see physical requirements).
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Pay

• Event Technician: $18.00 per hour.
• Event Technical Lead: $20.00 per hour.
• Event Operations Supervisor: $22.00 per hour.
• Overall hourly pay range for these roles: $18.00 – $25.00, based on qualifications, location, travel, experience, and skills.
