Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and tear down audio and lighting equipment for events
- Support chapels, school productions, and special events
- Aid with sound, microphones, and basic lighting during live events
- Maintain and organize A/V equipment
- Provide support to staff and visiting groups using A/V systems
- Provide a high level of customer service and servant leadership at all times
- Commit and fully support the missional and organizational standards including our Core Values, Mission Statement and Doctrinal Statement, and the Statement of Faith and Christian Beliefs
Additional Qualifications, Skills and Responsibilities
- Evidence of spiritual maturity and strong grasp of Christian biblical truths
- Effective communication, building healthy, effective relationships with fellow staff members and students
- Understanding of various audio mixers, speakers, lighting and acoustics
- Interest or experience in audio, lighting, or live event production
- Willingness to learn (training provided)
- Dependable and able to work evenings and occasional weekends
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to lift and move equipment as needed
Requirements
High School Diploma; preferred some college level education or technical training in audio / technical field.
Pay
Salary range is $18-$22 per hour, depending on experience.
Schedule
Hours vary based on the event schedule; typically 5–15 hours per week, with up to 40 hours per week during extended "Tech Week" periods (which may last up to 4 weeks).
