Responsibilities
- Set up, test, and operate AV equipment, including displays, projectors, microphones, speakers, cameras, and laptops.
- Support in-person, virtual, and hybrid meetings using platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Webex.
- Troubleshoot common AV, audio, video, and connectivity issues.
- Perform routine conference room checks and basic preventative maintenance.
- Maintain AV inventory, equipment readiness, and proper storage of accessories.
- Document incidents, requests, and resolutions in the ticketing system.
- Auxiliary tasks may include assisting with live streams and meeting recordings.
Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- 1+ year of experience in AV support, IT support, event technology, or a related customer-facing role.
- Working knowledge of AV equipment, signal flow, and connectivity standards (HDMI, DisplayPort, microphones, speakers, cameras).
- Experience with Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Webex, or similar collaboration platforms.
- Basic PC and Mac troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and assist with room and event setups.
