Audio Visual Specialist

Stone Ridge is seeking an Audio/Visual Specialist to begin work in October 2026. Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart, a member of the international Network of Sacred Heart Schools, is a Catholic, independent college preparatory school for girls, Grades 1-12, with a co-educational Early Childhood Program, Pre-Kindergarten, and Kindergarten in Bethesda, Maryland. The Audio Visual Specialist is responsible for: providing technical support to maintain and enhance current AV equipment.offering AV system consultation on upgrades or system enhancements and coordinating capital projects related to AV systems with various departments. providing support and coordination for the installation of AV equipment.providing clear communication and expert technical support on AV issues. maintaining inventory and managing AV assets.documenting and evaluating AV systems.training staff and faculty on AV system use and maintenance, including our Theater AV systems.providing AV system support for events on a flexible schedule (including evenings and weekends, as needed). managing AV systems for events and producing A/V systems for theater events as well. Essential Skills and Experience: 1+ years of technical experience managing and troubleshooting enterprise AV systemsA technical school/education certification/degreeVideo and theater production skillsInstructional/coaching skillsStrong project management and oral/written communication skillsExcellent customer service and interpersonal skills Valued but not required skills and experience: Bachelor’s Degree in relevant fieldExperience in lighting and sound management in theater productionExperience in videography/filmmakingExperience in a school environment This is a 12-month position.
