About the role
CTI has been a leading audiovisual provider since 1988, with a mission to provide a fantastic customer experience. We are looking for an Audio Video Field Specialist for our Springfield branch in Chicopee, MA. This role is ideal for someone passionate about audio-visual technology, embodying our customer-focused and problem-solving culture. This is not an entry-level position; we seek candidates with at least 4 years of experience in leading audio-visual integration installations.
Responsibilities
- Lead and assist with installations on multiple sites
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues
- Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure all systems operate at optimum levels
- Work with Programmers as needed to load updated files
- Complete final product configuration, testing, and commissioning of system solutions
- Train End Users on product(s)
- Overnight travel required (company paid)
- Other tasks as assigned
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience with leading audio-visual installations
- 2+ years of experience in final product configuration, testing, and commissioning of system solutions
- Knowledge of the commercial audio-visual integration industry is a must
- Customer service experience is required
- Ability to work independently with minimal guidance, but ask the right questions when help is needed
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Qualifications
- An associate degree is preferred but not required; experience and skill level are considered
- Eagerness to learn and readiness to tackle any situation

- Base salary: $75k–$100k+/yr (DOE)
